- Mutual Offset System (MOS)
An inter exchange trading link between CME and the Singapore Exchange (formerly SIMEX), enabling clearing firms to trade specific fungible contracts on both exchanges. Currently, the Eurodollar, Euroyen, Euroyen Libor, and the Japanese Government Bond futures contracts are designated for MOS trading. A CME clearing firm that is not a clearing member at the Singapore Exchange may trade these contracts on the Singapore Exchange as a customer of a Singapore Exchange clearing firm, and have its positions transferred to CME through the MOS.
